I think this is one of the best dictionaries out there. It's easy to use and I find the feature for writing the kanji using strokes, especially when you don't know how to read the kanji, very useful.
thank you very much
By and far the best dictionary app I’ve never paid for! Use it every day. Loaded with features and ease of use you wouldn’t expect for being free. It has saved me much time in referencing kanji and other vocabulary. The built in flash card system also works very well and the option to export word lists is handy as well.
This is my go to dictionary on my phone. It’s very useful with all of its search functions. The only thing I would like changed is a return to word search button. Getting back to the word search page after a deep dive on a word or kanji takes many taps!
Helped me survive my 1 year and 6 month course here in Japan. Very useful also for memorising Kanji and its writing order. Easy to use.
Easy to use with plenty of ways to find the words you are looking for.
Download the English version first, hope I can change the setting language from backstage management system.
Do yourself a favor
Really it’s a great app for learning Japanese. Word and sentences very comfortable on this app
Just open and use, want to take back your word(s)? Just tap below it, history created as simple as that. And it's fast
I hope the new version has Vietnamese language support. I want to help explain more Vietnamese, how should I respond, please reply when receiving this message, thank you very much.
This application is so smooth with low data . All the data are managed properly and is useful for those who are learning japanese especially for beginners. One thing i like about this app is examples are also showing under the words.
This is one of the best dictionaries to practice and learn the meaning of Japanese words and how they are written and good examples of each word
Definitely a top tier dictionnary on iOS. Search can be done with regular keyboard, kana keaybord, or by drawing kanji or kana. I'd say the kanji drawing is more strict than the google translate one, but a quick draw in google translate with a copy/paste here will do wonders. A lot of entries have sentences to put the word in context, you can add a memo with an entry (I like to add weather the word is used with する or not), the conjugaison is visible for verbs, and you can save entries in personalized lists, with a rather quick way to add one entry in several lists. What to improve ? The ability to use other languages than English would be great (at least adding the languages of the countries where Japanese is popular). Not everyone can speak English with a sufficient level to be able to translate what they want to say to find the right word in Japanese. And probably the recognition of kanji drawing, but I'm really searching for something to criticize here ^^'
It’s very helpful for every foreigner student in Japan !
