AdWords Express is designed to simplify online advertising, so you can spend more time running your business.
AdWords Express automatically manages your online ads, without the need for daily management or tasks.
But remember, you still have control of your ads, your budget, and your account.
In this video, we’ll show you an overview of AdWords Express and a few tips to help navigate your account.
You can add multiple businesses to your AdWords Express account. If you happen to run a bakery and a shoe store, you can create two business listings, each with its own ads. Just click Create new business to begin.
You can also have multiple ads per business.
Let’s say you own a pizza restaurant and recently started offering pizza delivery. You could run one ad for your restaurant, and another ad that specifically advertisers your delivery service.
To create a new ad, go to your business and click the arrow. Then, click Create ad.
If you’re already viewing an existing ad for your business, you can also click Create new ad.
Set the geographic area you’d like to target. People located in your targeted area are eligible to see your ads.
Now enter the products and services you’d like to advertise. These products and services should accurately reflect your business.
Next, you’ll write and preview your ad.
AdWords Express will show your ads for relevant searches on Google to help you reach the right customers.
Next, choose your budget. AdWords Express will recommend a budget based on your business type and location, but you can enter any amount that you’re comfortable with.
Once you’ve created your ad, it’ll be sent for review by our ad quality specialists.
Most ads are reviewed within 1 business day, though some may take longer if they require a more complex review.
You can preview your ad at any time.
You can also make changes by clicking the edit icon at the corner of each section.
Now, let’s say your ad has been running for a while, and you’re ready to pause it.
Go back to your ad and slide the “Active” button to “Inactive.”
Your ad will stop running and will stop accumulating costs. There’s no need to cancel your account or make additional changes to your budget.
If you want the ad to start running again, just slide the “Inactive” button back to “Active.”
You can make changes to your ad at any time by clicking the arrow and selecting an option from the drop-down menu.
